Flapjacks are great, but how much better would they be topped with peanuts, caramel and Galaxy Chocolate?

Pre-heat the oven to 180c.
Snickers Flapjacks Recipe
- 250g Porridge oats
- 125g Butter
- 125g Brown sugar
- 2-3 tbsp Golden syrup
- 100G bar Galaxy chocolate x 2
- Salted peanuts
- 1 Can condensed caramel
Melt the butter, sugar and golden syrup in a pot on a medium heat. Once all of these ingredients have blended together, add in the porridge oats and mix well.
Place the mixture onto a greased baking tray, packing in the mixture well, especially in the corners. Bake for around 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Take out the over and leave to cool.
Once cool cover the flapjack with the caramel and sprinkle on the salted peanuts generously. Next, place the chocolate in the microwave and melt. This usually takes around 30 secs to 1min, although make sure you still in between. Finally cover the flapjack with the cooled melted chocolate and refrigerate until it begins to firm. At this point, take it out and cut into squares as leaving it too long will see the chocolate crack.
